SOUP MAKER
AVAILABILITY REQUIRED: Mondays & Thursdays, 8:30am - 5:30pm or 7:30am-4:30pm
HOURS/WEEK: 18
COMPENSATION: $17+/hr, based on experience
DESCRIPTION:
Our small kitchen team churns out 60-70 gallons of soup each week, made entirely by hand at our commercial kitchen in Hillsborough. As part of the kitchen team, you’ll work alongside 4-6 other folks to see soups through from start to finish. This includes setting up workstations, washing, peeling, and chopping a variety and large volume of vegetables; cooking soups; blending; packaging and labeling soups; dishes and clean-up. Full Disclosure: lots of knife work, dishes and cleaning shared between all employees, even the owner!

— Physical and mental stamina and healthy endurance, ability to lift 30lbs comfortably and spend several hours at a time standing
